Jimmy Rotherham busting air

Sauritch

Jimmy Rotherham in El Salvador. Jimmy is one of those guys busting huge

airs and actually landing them. Much too often, we see guys going for huge airs,

but never landing them.  Jimmy pulls them off all the time. Here he is in El Salvador

doing it again on a Sauritch Surfboard.  Send him a quiver and they all work for him.

Dale Timm Jr on Sauritch Surfboard

Dale Timm Jr sets up for an early morning barrel, somewhere

in North San Diego, during his Christmas vacation back

to Solana Beach.  Dale resides in Santa Barbara, where he

attends UCSB.

Kyle Timm, North San Diego

Kyle Timm enjoys his morning session in San Diego, north county.

Looks like a lot less people than the new, instant local crowd seen

at Swami’s this past year.

Jim Newell in South Florida

Jim Newell

Jim Newell surfing in South Florida, Pampano Beach

on his 5′-10″ Sauritch.  Looks like something fell out

of the sky, nearly hitting his head.  Wetsuit in Florida?

Colin Pierce Again

Colin Pierce showing everybody that he still has what it takes,

as he finds his way into the Hollywood scene. Keep up the good work Colin!

Benny Trimming at Swamis

Benny at Swamis November, 2011.  So far, it has been pretty dismal, as far as the surf goes.

Dave Avery Roundhouse

Dave Avary on his Sauritch again.

Here is Dave Avary again, as he approaches someone’s head, that was a little too close for his projected bottom turn.

Norcal’s Dave Avary in Mexico on a Sauritch Surfboard

Dave Avary, of Norcal, is seen here hiding deep in a Mexican barrel.  It’s nice to see that somebody is getting some rideable surf, as we have been in a “limbo” surf pattern for a month. We should be getting our first look at some winter surf in the next couple of days, as our first little storm approaches us from the north today(10/10/11).

Miramar Air Show Longboard Winner

Ernesto Rodriquez(left), winner of the Longboard Raffle

at the Miramar Air Show this past weekend, receives his

9′-6″ Sauritch Longboard from Capt Joe DiMambro.

Ernesto won the new surfboard in a raffle at the air show.

The only problem, is that Ernesto has never been on a

surfboard!  Well, it’s never too late to learn!!

New Sauritch Mini Egg for Marjun

I recently shaped this Sauritch Mini Egg

for a customer up in Huntington Beach

named Marjun Advincula.  This board’s

dimensions are  5′-10″  x  20″  x  2 3/8″

and comes as a tri fin, but can also be

ridden as a quad for fast, down-the-line

speed and quick bottom turns.  Marjun

sent me this pic and says he is in love

with it’s performance!

The Sauritch Stabilizer Model

The Stabilizer is a wider version of the CRT model

by Sauritch Surfboards.  This board is 6′-4″  x  20 1/2″  x  2 5/8″

and can handle a wide range of surfing conditions.

Ride this board in small to overhead surf and cut back

smoothly, while catching lots of waves, due to the ample

amount of volume.

Teahupoo 2011…..looks fun!

This swell later moved up to So Cal with no shape.

Sauritch Surfboard from the past…..1972.

I actually shaped this back in 1971 for

a guy named Don MacLean in my old

shaping room in my parent’s garage.

Here is Sarah Gillooly and her sisters, that

love to frequent Higgin’s Beach, Maine. They

are showing off their Sauritch Surfboard that

was made for the legendary Nathan Ingraham,

of Cardiff-by-the-Sea in North San Diego.  Hope

you have fun on that board!
